Software for
the trades that
run real things.

Residential buildings, maintenance contracts, marinas, veterinary clinics and the owners they look after. Five products, one conviction: the people doing the work deserve better than sodden paper and photographs lost in a WhatsApp thread.

The products

Four trades. Five tools that know the trade.

Five rather than four, because animal health is served from both sides: GoodVet is the clinic's software, GoodPaw the owner's. Two separate products, two sets of customers — and one database between them, which is exactly the point.

Alongside them sits a sixth line of enquiry, ApexScout, presented here for what it is: a study with not one line of code, whose technical feasibility is settled and whose commercial case is not.

Shared freehold

SyndicGo

The building, run by the people who live in it.

Small French co-owned buildings of 2 to 15 units, run by a volunteer or co-operative manager rather than a managing agent.

  • The general meeting, end to end — Notice, agenda, the statutory twenty-one days, the sitting itself and the minutes.
  • A voting engine that follows the Act — Articles 24, 25, 25-1 — the fallback — and 26 of the Act of 10 July 1965. Each resolution is counted under the majority that actually governs it.
  • Charges split to the cent — Multi-key apportionment by ownership share, calls for funds, and a running balance per owner.
  • Remote voting — An owner who cannot attend votes from their phone, and that vote counts in the same quorum.

Field service

MaintOps

From signed job sheet to invoice, the same day.

Maintenance firms of 5 to 50 engineers — HVAC, lifts, fire safety, boiler rooms, commercial electrical.

  • Offline in the field — The engineer works in a basement with no signal. The app records; the sync waits for the signal to come back.
  • The job sheet is the accounting document — Signed, photographed and timestamped on site — that is what raises the invoice, not a re-keying exercise on Friday evening.
  • Dispatch board — The planner sees jobs, engineers and emergencies on one view.
  • French from the first commit — The interface was written in French from the start, not translated afterwards.

Marinas

QuayPark

A digital harbour office, without fitting a single sensor.

Marinas and smaller moorings.

  • Split-screen harbour plan — Dragging a waiting request onto a free berth assigns and confirms it in one movement.
  • Colour-coded pontoon grid — Arrivals, departures and overstay alerts readable at a glance.
  • Meter readings — Electricity used at the berth is read on the spot and re-billed without re-keying.
  • One app, two jobs — The same app serves the skipper and the harbour office, and adapts to whoever signs in.

Veterinary practice

GoodVet

The clinic, from appointment to discharge.

Veterinary clinics and practices — vets, nurses, practice management and billing.

  • Live waiting room — The board of animals present sorts by triage priority. Emergencies show red across every screen, and a walk-in is created with one button.
  • Structured medical records — Clinical notes in SOAP form, typed by act — consultation, surgery, emergency, follow-up — with vitals, examinations and automatic draft saving.
  • Vaccines, prescriptions, stock — Batch number, expiry date, booster reminders, the prescription dispensing cycle, and low-stock alerts on consumables.
  • Billing and roles — An invoice per consultation, unpaid tracking, and five distinct roles — vet, nurse, management, billing, administration — each with its own rights.

Pet owners

GoodPaw

The health record follows the animal, not the clinic.

Owners of dogs, cats and exotics — first among them, the clients of clinics running GoodVet.

  • The record, from the owner’s side — Vaccines, prescriptions, visit reports and discharge instructions, written by the clinic and readable without ringing them.
  • Vaccination reminders — The due date is the one the vet entered, not an estimate. The notification goes out before, not after.
  • Booking online — Appointments with the clinic, with the reason and the practitioner, without going through reception.
  • Walks and tracking — GPS recording of outings, distance, route and history — the one part of the app that does not come from the practice.

Football scouting

ApexScout

Spot the curve that takes off, before it is obvious.

Scouts and academies following UEFA youth competitions.

  • Official sources only — Governing bodies and UEFA, never an aggregator. The European database right protects the compilation itself: copying Transfermarkt into a competing database is precisely what it exists to prevent.
  • No metric the data cannot carry — No tactical archetypes, no wingspan, no progressive carries without event data. The original brief asked for all three; none survives contact with the source.
  • Age is computed, never stored — A stored age is wrong within a year, and the entire product is about age curves. Only the date of birth is kept.
  • Minors, so GDPR first — Profiling under-eighteens in Europe falls under Article 8, and the CNIL is not passive. The position is settled before the first row is stored, not after.

European database right

The technical answer is yes. Football, not basketball — the reverse of the original brief, because FIBA does not publish what UEFA publishes.

What remains is the one question no code settles: would anybody pay.

The approach

What does not change from one product to the next

01

The field comes first

An engineer in a boiler room has no signal. A harbour officer has wet hands and a minute to spare. Our applications are drawn for those conditions — offline, thumb-sized, three gestures — and not for a demonstration at a desk.

02

French by origin

The interface has been in French since the first commit, never translated afterwards. So are the business rules: ownership shares, the majorities of the 1965 Act, the mandatory particulars of a French invoice. Those are what decide the shape of the software.

03

Your data stays yours

Databases and backups hosted in Paris. Every product can export the whole of an account’s data, on request, without going through us — that is a right, not a commercial favour.

Contact

Let’s talk about your trade.

A question about a product, a request for a demo, or a neighbouring trade we have not looked at yet — the reply comes from the person who writes the software.
