GoodPaw

The health record follows the animal, not the clinic.

Owners of dogs, cats and exotics — first among them, the clients of clinics running GoodVet.

The paper health record gets lost, the latest prescription is a photo in the camera roll, and the booster reminder arrives whenever it arrives. Changing vet, or simply going on holiday, is paid for in phone calls.

GoodPaw gives the owner their copy of the record, kept current by the clinic itself. And because an animal is not only a patient, the app also follows walks, outings and the identification tag.

What GoodPaw does

The parts that matter in the field

The record, from the owner’s side

Vaccines, prescriptions, visit reports and discharge instructions, written by the clinic and readable without ringing them.

Vaccination reminders

The due date is the one the vet entered, not an estimate. The notification goes out before, not after.

Booking online

Appointments with the clinic, with the reason and the practitioner, without going through reception.

Walks and tracking

GPS recording of outings, distance, route and history — the one part of the app that does not come from the practice.

Pet Hero tag

An NFC or QR tag: whoever scans it sees the animal's emergency sheet and can reach its owner.

The twin product

GoodPaw and GoodVet share the record

GoodPaw works on its own, but it earns its keep when the clinic runs GoodVet: the record then stops being a copy the owner maintains on their side and becomes the clinic's own record, written by the vet and opened for reading.
